Always missing everything these days.
I was drawn to Johnsons' by my new found mates in the late 80s, the boys from Flesh for Lulu.
The best introduction (in my opinion) to London at that time (I didn't really have another option). I was an 17 at the time, and Nick, James, and Rocco, were my directors even though I was unaware of their great music at the time - youth is wasted on the young, for sure, lol. djbethellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12985822329560244963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1310089850643983278.post-55976521359215030062012-04-15T06:40:52.934-07:002012-04-15T06:40:52.934-07:00djbethell: Amen to that! Winckle Pickers are the pointy-toed black leather ankle boots that Teddyboys used to wear with their Edwardian suits. See the photo of the male and female mannequins at the top of the page: on the left hand side is engineer boots (of course!). On the right is a pair of winckle pickers. Am sure Americans call them something else!bitter69ukhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10182913922421674178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1310089850643983278.post-34173449084837569882012-01-29T15:35:14.183-08:002012-01-29T15:35:14.183-08:00Wow, that looks like an amazing event. And your black regency suit - can't believe that one didn't make the cut. What pray tell are "winkle pickers"?Eartha Kitschhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08189308677139650882noreply@blogger.com
